Access
- Turn off the Alaska highway at kilometer
645 and follow the Churchill Mines Road for
19 kilometers to the Wokkpash Creek Bridge.
Park at the campsite. A choice: Make your
own way upstream for 14 kilometers criss-crossing
the braided stream bed of the Wokkpash, or
pick up the trail on the left side of the
stream at an old hunting campsite; the trail
is the scenic route. After a couple hours of
hiking you will notice red flags which take
you through the bush and upward to a
panoramic view. Another two hours of hiking
will bring you to the Canyon of Teetering
Rocks. The red markers on the right will
take you to Wokkpash Lake. You can continue
along the west side of the lake and 8
kilometers later, 31 kilometers in total,
you have reached the beginning of Wokkpash
Creek.

Note: This is an awesome trip. It
is a 15 km hike for experienced hikers.
